Leta Pauline Daniels Sellers, 80, of Obion, passed away July 15, 2024, at her residence.

Born Jan. 15, 1944, in Sparta, she was the daughter of Leon Denton “D” Daniels and Ida Rose Anderson Daniels, both of whom preceded her in death.

Mrs. Sellers was a homemaker. She was a proud OCCHS band booster Granny, dedicated 4-H volunteer leader, and member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ. She was an avid fan of the Tennessee Lady Vols and enjoyed attending the games.  The times that she enjoyed the most were those spent with her family and friends making special memories.

Funeral service was 11 a.m., July 19, 2024, at the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service was Bro. Rick Knoll. Interment followed at Zion Cemetery, in the Cloverdale community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Dortha Teeple; four brothers, Bill Daniels, Doug Anderson, Kenneth Daniels, Bob Daniels; granddaughter Toni Sellers Roberts; and a daughter-in-law, Daphie Ransom Sellers.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 62 years, Walter Yates Sellers, of Obion; two sons, Scott Sellers (Lisa), of Hop-In, Tennessee, Walter Sellers, of Summerville, South Carolina; one daughter, Sara Moore (Steven), of Obion; one brother, Lonnie Daniels, of Sparta; and she was “Nanaw” to seven grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.

Honoring Mrs. Sellers as pallbearers were Cory Sellers, Jay Sellers, Kim Sellers, Jon Kerr, Eugene Hudgins, and Steve Smith.

Honorary pallbearers were John Sellers, Bradley Sellers, So Yoshida, and Marcus Granberg.

Johnson-Williams Funeral Home, in Newbern, was in charge of arrangements.
