Debra Jean Cantrell Luna, 69, of Sparta, passed away Aug. 29, 2024, at her residence.
She was born June 27, 1955, to William Ernest and Vina Edith Looney Cantrell.
Debra was a member of Johnson Chapel Baptist Church and worked at Mallory Control.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Luna; brothers, David Cantrell, Houston Cantrell, Olen Cantrell, Othel Cantrell; two nieces; and one nephew.
She is survived by a son, Shannon Luna, of Sparta; sisters, Brenda (R.V.) Billings, of Sparta, Phyllis (Bobby) Malone, of Sparta, Janice Cantrell, of Sparta; nine nephews; and five nieces.
Funeral service was 11 a.m., Aug. 31, 2024, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel, in Smithville, with burial in Johnson Chape Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to American Liver Foundation.
