Jon “Kevin” Speck, 54, of Sparta, passed away Sept. 7, 2024.
Kevin was born April 7, 1970, in Sparta, to Tyrone Speck and Myra McCain Speck.
In addition to his parents, Kevin is preceded by his grandparents, Kermit (Ruth) Speck and Noel (Ola) McCain; his brother, Robert Speck; his sister, Diane McBride; and his uncles, Gary McCain and Earl McCain.
Kevin is survived by a sister, Deborah Speck (Brian), of Rickman; two nieces, Laken (Michael) Howell, of Sparta, Carson Speck, of Rickman; great-niece, Addison Howell; great-nephew, Riley Howell; uncle, Floyd (Nancy) Speck, of Dyersburg; and many cousins, friends, and neighbors.
Memorial service for Jon will be 2 p.m., Sept. 21, 2024, at Blue Springs Presbyterian Church. The family will be accepting visitors, noon-2 p.m., at the church.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
