Evelyn Gibson, 78, passed away July 19, 2024, at Signature Nursing Home, in Algood.
She was born Feb. 9, 1946, in Pikeville, Kentucky, to Hiram Rose and Manie Rose,
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Ralph Gibson;
She is survived by her son, Kevin Gibson; stepchildren, Charles Earl Gibson, Billy Paul Gibson, Sharon Shaffer, Sherry Estep; sister, Ella Mae McCary; grandchildren, Lisa Renee Gibson, Kevin Ryan Gibson, Kyle Robert Gibson; and two great-grandchildren, Lucille Cirice Gibson and Ellinor Rozlynn Gibson.
Funeral service was July 22, 2024, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Cemetery. Bro. Barry Whiteaker officiated.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
