(Sept. 25, 2024) - White County Warriorette volleyball went 3-0 against LaVergne recently. The Warriorettes stayed on the road to face off against the LaVergne Wolverines, at 6 p.m. Sept. 26. White County will be strutting in after a victory, while LaVergne will be coming in after a loss.
On Sept. 24, White County got the win against Warren County by a conclusive 3-0.
White County was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-23, 25-22.
Meanwhile, LaVergne was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Warren County.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Warren County scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-23.
White County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season. As for LaVergne, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
Everything went White County's way against LaVergne when the teams last played on Sept. 3, as White County made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for White County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around.
