Question:
What is the date of the Lester Flatt Liberty Square Celebration?
Answer:
The Lester Flatt Liberty Square Celebration will take place on October 12th. It is the second Saturday in October of each year. We have a strong lineup of talent coming in this year.
Blake Williams always does a great job hosting on stage. The list is as follows:
There will be crafts, classic cars, food, and fun for all as we enjoy a day of bluegrass music on Liberty Square, in Sparta. Bring your lawn chairs and get ready for a great day in Sparta, Tennessee.
One more date to be reminded of is the Sparta Rotary Club Christmas Parade and the City of Sparta’s Tree Lighting event. We will have a kids’ zone for activities for the young and old alike as we begin celebrating this Christmas season.
The Christmas parade and tree lighting is set for Dec. 14. The parade is set for the second Saturday in December of each year. The theme for the parade is “The Magic of Christmas,” and start time will be 4 p.m. The tree lighting and events will take place on Liberty Square starting at 5:30 p.m.
Be safe out there. Finish strong.
